There are report of the pauses in many media outlets. They tend to vary. as far as Carolyne is concerned:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proposal is for a complete ceasefire\/pause in the south and a 6 hour pause\/day in the north PLUS no drone activity for 6 hours because they've \"lost contact\" with the terrorists holding some of the hostages and need to look for them PLUS 3 terrorists to be released for every hostage. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following is her full report sent last night and confirmed at lunchtime by Carolyne:-<\/p>\n\n\n

Israel Update :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone is waiting anxiously to hear if there is going to be a hostage deal in the next few hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rumours are that the children PG will be released along with Israeli Mothers. Each hostage will be exchanged for 3 Palestinian prisoners, but those convicted of murder will not be released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial deal is thought to be for 4 days and during those day there will be a 6 hour ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The government is yet to approve the deal but it has been approved by the IDF, Shin Bet and Mossad according to Israeli sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would imagine that most Israelis are praying for the return of the hostages (and the children are the priority ). No one wants to see a ceasefire but if that is the price to \u201cBring them Home\u201d, then we must pray the government approves it. No one can breath while our children are held by barbarians and these days have been torture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel has clearly really damaged Hamas and they are desperate to re-group. They may well re-group but their total destruction is the aim of the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hamas cannot be trusted and we cannot even be sure they know exactly where all the hostages are, as Islamic Jihad are thought to be holding some. We cannot even be sure which hostages are alive so this is a very tense few days ahead. It isbeing reported that Islamic Jihad have killed one female hostage tonight  as the deal is being debated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deal will also include the Red Cross having access to the remaining hostages .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Negotiating with terrorists sets a terrible precedent and encourages further terror attacks. Releasing prisoners for hostages strengthens the hands of the terrorist and kidnapping becomes a terror tool\u2026.. but the hostages must be released and there will be time to hunt down the perpetrators of these terrible crimes against humanity. Simon Wiesenthal never stopped hunting down the Nazis and Israel will not stop hunting down those responsible for October 7th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can now only hold our breath and pray for the release of the innocent.
