This week has had moments of intense joy drenched with tears . Joy at the release of some 103  captives,  leaving  three children, and an estimate of 130 adults  in the hands of Hamas and\/or  Islamic Jihad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fate of the two little \u201c Gingies\u201d as those with red hair are affectionately known in Israel is unclear with  Hamas claiming they have been killed, together with their Mother Shiri Bibas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A nation is crying in hope and despair,  for a 9 month and 4 year old whose only crime in their short life was being Jewish . <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adolf Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseini must be shaking hands in the depths of Hades as the crime of being Jewish is once again being punished by torture and death, and much of the world is silent.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 It is reported by the parents of the recovered children,  that Hamas caused burn marks on the children\u2019s legs by placing them by  the scorching motor bike exhausts, to ensure they could be  identified if they tried to escape ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A list of 8 further hostages was received this morning ( Thursday ) just before the deadline , and we are now informed they are safely back in Israel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The released Palestinian prisoners are already starring in the  Pallywood propaganda . A youth by the name of Mohammed was filmed walking,  and healthy when he entered the Red Cross ambulance for release, but somehow managed to sport two broken arms when he later cried to the cameras  showing the injuries the IDF had inflicted upon him .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know the IDF are admired all around the world for their skill and discipline but to actually manage to enter a Red Cross ambulance surreptitiously under the eye of  the world\u2019s media and beat up a teen and break both his arms entities then to membership to the \u201c Magic Circle\u201d ! Such are the lies and fabrications that are being peddled by Hamas and sadly swallowed  by many. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceasefire itself is highly controversial, as no one knows what further advantage Hamas may gain from these few days. They have now been given the time and space to mingle among the civilians, perhaps pass back into the north of Gaza, which was thought pretty much cleared before the ceasefire , and to re-group and re-arm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning in Jerusalem three Israelis were killed in a Hamas orchestrated  terror attack and one more died as the result of an accidental shot fired by the soldiers when he was mistaken for the terrorists on whom he was firing ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuel for cooking has been entering the strip and we know from previous aid shipments that much of the aid destined for civilian use is passed to the Hamas. The contamination between terrorists and civilians is highly complex in Gaza. It is even reported that an UNWRA teacher was guarding a hostage as was a Gazan Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 The stories are trickling through:  Hostages that escaped and were caught by civilians and handed back to Hamas, an injured young girl of 21,  who was operated on by a vet ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a world turned on its head in Gaza, where no rules of civilised humanity exist and the whole society is dictated by a death cult. Therefore, trying to defeat the evil by normal means of warfare is proving extremely challenging and costly to Israel. Hunting down the Hamas military and their leaders is dangerous and difficult as they are being protected by the civilians, who Israel are trying so hard not to harm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are fears in Israel that international pressure will cause Netanyahu to break his vow to destroy Hamas, leaving Israel vulnerable to another October 7th attack. Most of the war cabinet are in favour of restarting the war, but are also wanting the hostages released. Originally, it was 13 per day, but has dropped to 8 today, so the decision makers must weigh up the costs and benefits of a continued truce. The offer for tomorrow is 7 live hostages and 3 bodies. Israel has said NO : 10 live hostages or no deal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The words of the Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who said in his first public statement (since October 7th),  that \u201cOctober 7th was just a rehearsal\u2019,  should be taken very very seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The situation in Israel remains volatile and tense as the whole country walks together on a long and painful road without an end in sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In London, strength and support could be drawn from the march last Sunday, that attracted 105,000 people from all walks of life, marching peacefully against the anti semitism that has sweep the capital since October 7th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

May the light of Shabbat bring some comfort to us all during these dark days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
