Emma Barnett is the latest to achieve a very major role in the BBC Radio hierarchy, now presenting the <em>Today <\/em>programme several times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(15.197px, 0.95rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.887), 23px);\">I thank Wikipedia for the information in this column. Between 2016 and 2020 she presented 5 Live's mid-morning weekday programme. Before beginning her broadcasting career she worked for&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Daily_Telegraph\">The Daily Telegraph<\/a><\/em>, first as its Digital Media editor and latterly its Women editor, being credited with bringing a more serious edge to the coverage of women's issues in the paper. Between August 2016 and 2020, she was a columnist for&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Sunday_Times\">The Sunday Times<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;and, from June 2017, a co-presenter of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/BBC_One\">BBC One<\/a>'s&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sunday_Morning_Live_(BBC_TV_programme)\">Sunday Morning Live<\/a><\/em>.
