Everything was then frozen or boxed in Tupperware for Pesach. Most of these recipes are in imperial measurements because they have been handed down the generations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Here are 3 of my favorite recipes as they all are very simple to make:-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"959\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shavuatov.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pesach-Brownie.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-904\" style=\"width:744px;height:794px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.shavuatov.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pesach-Brownie.jpg 959w, https:\/\/www.shavuatov.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pesach-Brownie-768x820.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 959px) 100vw, 959px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3 Step Pesach Chocolate Brownies makes 24 Brownies. <\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(This recipe is in cups as it was given to me by a great American friend &nbsp;metrically &nbsp;&nbsp;inclined<\/em><em><u><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/u><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.allrecipes.com\/article\/cup-to-gram-conversions\/\"><em><u><em>https:\/\/www.allrecipes.com\/article\/cup-to-gram-conversions\/<\/em><\/u><\/em><\/a><em><u><em>)<\/em><\/u><\/em><em><u><em><\/em><\/u><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">You need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">4&nbsp;eggs<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">2&nbsp;cups&nbsp;sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">1&nbsp;cup&nbsp;oil&nbsp;use&nbsp;any oil that you use on pesach (canola, sunflower\u2026)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">1\/2&nbsp;tsp&nbsp;salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">1 cup&nbsp;cocoa (I use Dutch Kosher for Pesach)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u00be cup&nbsp;chocolate (pareve) chips<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pre heat your oven to 350 C 176 F or Gas mark 4.<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Prepare a 9x13\" baking pan or 2 X 9\" square pans with baking paper. <strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Whisk together sugar, oil and eggs until light yellow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Sprinkle in cocoa powder, potato starch and salt mix by hand or with a hand mixer beat till all mixed well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Fold in chocolate chips. Stir well and put into the baking pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Bake 20-25 minutes. Keep checking after 20. minutes so that you don't over bake. These are best gooey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">These freeze well and can be made in batches. Most of these recipes are in imperial measurements because they have been handed down the generations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Here are 3 of my favorite recipes as they all are very simple to make<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cinnamon Balls<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 to make 30- 40 depending on size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">1lb Ground Almonds<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">8 oz fine caster sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">4 Egg whites<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">2 tablespoons (level) good quality ground cinnamon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Around 2 oz of sieved icing sugar for coating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Preheat the oven to Gas mark 3 or 160 C<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Line a baking tray with baking paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Beat the whites until they form stiff peaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Stir in all the other ingredients, mixing until the mixture is the same colour all the way through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Dampen your hands with cold water, form the mixture into even sized balls<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Bake for 16 to 20 minutes or until soft to the touch. take care not to overcook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Roll in icing sugar whilst warm then let cool and wall again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">These can be frozen or stored for up to two weeks in an airtight tin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shavuatov.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/coconut-macaroons.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-906\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Coconut Macaroons- makes 25. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">2 whole eggs beaten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">8 oz Caster Sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">14 oz desiccated coconut (natural)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">2.5 Teaspoons fresh lemon juice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u00bd teaspoon salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Preheat the oven to Gas mark 3 or 160 C<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Line a baking tray with baking paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Crack the eggs into a medium-sized bowl and beat for several minutes until pale, frothy and significantly increased in volume<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Slowly beat in the sugar, lemon juice and salt, and then fold in the coconut &nbsp;mix well &nbsp;and put in the fridge for at least 15 minutes so the mixture can firm up<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Wet you hands and make into pyramid shapes. place on baking tray.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Wet one finger and lightly press the top down or else it will burn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Bake for 15-20 minutes till browned but not burnt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cinnamon Balls, Coconut Macaroons and Pesach Brownies.
