So this is it, a coronation for the 1st time in most of our life-times

It seems that it is the normal thing to do to wish you Happy Coronation Weekend, so this week Shabbat Shalom will usher in the Royal weekend of celebration. Thereafter it will be Shavua Tov.

For some of us, we will enjoy the festivities of Lag B'Omer on Wednesday as much, and I bring to your attention the party on Hove Recreation Ground being organised by Chabad Brighton = Please book if you intend to go.

Of course this we ekend is one where Christianity is the mainstay with the service in Westminster Abbey. But is it possible it could be taking place in Bevis Marks? You have probably already shouted "No!". You are probably right - however if Prince George or Prince Louis were to succeed to the throne, they would be halachically Jewish! Their mother the Princess of Wales was born to a Jewish mother and is therefore Jewish herself, and the same goes for her Children.

If you look at our Celebrity page, you will see how the Royal family has its fair share of Jewish blood, going back to Prince Albert. It makes you think!

Another cause for celebration happened last night when Brighton got their revenge over Manchester United to complete the Premier League Double. We don't have Jack Kaye's report yet, but there are some interviews available.

Congratulations to Tony Rose whose birthday is on the 8th May - I hope the day and year if full of good health and good cheer.

If you haven't let me know your birthday yet, I encourage you to do so.

Meanwhile I hope you enjoy the Quiche Me quick that Corinne Rachelle prescribes in her Coronation recipe.

Have a great weekend

Nick
