How Jewish is our Royal Family?
As you will be aware, King Charles at his coronation will be corwned as “Defender of the Faith”. Charles himself wanted to change it to “Defender of the Faiths”. However is Christianity the only faith coursing round the veins of our Royal Family?
Prince Albert was a Protestant Christian all his life. However it is intriguing to know whether he was really. I quote from a writer named Garin Pirnia who in an article in Mental Floss, wrote the following:-
Prince Albert was born on August 26, 1819 at Schloss Rosenau castle, near Coburg, Germany. He was the second son born to Ernest III, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld and Louise of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg. Though Albert and his older brother, Ernest, were close throughout their lives, their home life was rather dysfunctional. Their father was a strict man who was known to have a number of affairs and is believed to have fathered at least three illegitimate children. The couple separated in 1824, when Albert was just 5 years old, and Louise was then exiled from court. It's believed that she never saw her sons again.
Though there's no doubt that Prince Albert's father was a noted philanderer, the strongest evidence that Princess Louise had affairs was based purely on rumors. "The ducal court was not noted for the strictness of its morals," historical biographer Lytton Strachey wrote in 1921's Queen Victoria. "The Duke was a man of gallantry, and it was rumored that the Duchess followed her husband's example. There were scandals: one of the Court Chamberlains, a charming and cultivated man of Jewish extraction, was talked of; at last there was a separation, followed by a divorce."
However even if Prince Albert was from a Jewish mother that would not have made a difference to the children of Queen Victoria.
However coming back to the present, there are two occasions which could have a far greater effect.
It is common knowledge that Prince William’s wife, the former Kate Middleton, was Jewish. The following was written by the Mehr News Agency at the time of the wedding.
The truth is that the royal family's new bride is a Jew. Although in the wedding ceremony it was pretended that Kate Middleton is Christian but this lady's family roots show that she is considered a Sephardic Jew from her mother's side. Moreover the timing of the wedding and the way it was held which was based on Jewish culture verify the evidences.
Kate's mother was surnamed Goldsmith before marrying Kate's father. According to Jewish laws if a mother is a Jew, her children will be Jews, too. Therefore Kate Middleton is a Sephardic Jew and her children will be Jews based on the Jewish law.
This would mean that Prince George and Prince Louis would be Chalachically Jewish and so potentially our King George VII could be a Jewish King!
However, it is just possible that Prince William could be Jewish. His mother was Princess Diana.
The Jewishness of the members of the Royal family does not end up in just one case, there are others in the British royal family who were and are Jews. Princess Diana the bride of queen Elizabeth was also born to a Jewish mother and was thus considered a Jew. Therefore her sons William and Harry are also Jews.
In her book "The Diana Chronicles", Tina Brown claims that Princess Diana's Jewish mother, Frances Shand Kydd had relationships with a Jewish banker called James Goldsmith while she was married to Earl John Spencer. She argues that Diana who was born in 1961 was the illegitimate child of Goldsmith and was not the real daughter of Spencer. Brown writes that even if Diana is not born to a Jewish father, based on the Jewish law, she is still considered a Jew as she was born to a Jewish mother.
In her appearance, Princess Diana significantly resembles James Goldsmith's children- Zack, Ben and Jemima; it is said that they are Diana's stepbrothers and stepsister.
In 2003 Ben Goldsmith claimed that he was Diana's stepbrother and thus married Kate Rothschild. This made Zach introduce himself as Diana's stepbrother, too; he, as well, became a Parliament member after that and divorced his wife. Right now Zach lives with Alice Rothschild. It is expected that the Rothschild-Goldsmith couple will get married.
As previously mentioned, by a Jewish definition of the Jews, a child should be born to a Jewish mother so that she or he is considered a Jew because in Judaism religion is passed through mothers. Prince William's grandmother, Princess Diana's mother, a Jewish woman born Frances Ruth Roche was a member of the Rothschild family. Evidences allege that Diana's paternal ancestors were Jewish, too and therefore William is certainly a Jew.
So what is the truth? What is the Chalachic authority - Does it matter?
