Photographs are emerging showing World Central Kitchen volunteers in the company of Hamas. Reports are awaiting verification that the convoy that was destroyed with the aid workers last week had guns on board.

Believing what is written in the press is now a minefield of disinformation, rumours, and in the last few hours unreliable predications of an imminent attack from Iran.

As the western media, and especially the headlines are mostly misleading, one must be very committed to dig further and find the  truth which is cleverly hidden among a few facts and mixed in with down right lies.

Sky ran a headline insinuating that starvation in Yemen is due to the war in Gaza. Naturally, as the talk of a famine in Gaza, caused by Israel, has been freely thrown around, its not too many steps to then believe that Israel is also behind the famine that is occurring in Yemen.

The US have now publicly declared there is no evidence of a genocide in Gaza,  but that has failed to make the front pages unlike the accusations , which flooded the news and was on the tip of the tongue of every anti Israel demonstrator.

The media war is just another front that Israel is facing alongside the terrorist attacks in the country, the drones, rockets and ballistic missiles that are sent daily.

Iraq managed to infiltrate Israeli airspace this week and the missile was destroyed very close to the city of Eilat by the C Dome, a new ship based Iron Dome that is stationed on the Saar 6 in the Gulf of Eilat. The Houthi have attacked 2 US war ships and 2 cargo ships in the last few hours but are meeting very little response

Hezbollah continue to launch drones and  fire rockets into the north of the country . Hamas are firing but much less so and this evening their rockets fell short and landed in Gaza. Israel continues to attack their infrastructure and launch sites and has started to strike targets in Rafah.

Much is being read into the sudden withdrawal of Israeli ground troops from Khan Younis, once the hotbed of terror operations. Some predict this is a precursor to the planned invasion of Rafah. Others say it is due to pressure from the USA as it coincides with a significant increase in aid entering the strip.

Within minutes of the area being cleared of IDF, a rocket was launched into Israel, demonstrating that Hamas still remain, despite having been, hopefully,  fatefully wounded as a fighting force. The worry is that the IDF have been attacking their tunnels and military infrastructure for over six months and they still have significant capabilities with the help of PIJ, , killing four young soldiers this week,  and remain coherent and confident enough to continue making demands.

The proposed hostage release deal was rejected by Hamas this week. Netanyahu is still being blamed for the failure to release the hostages.

In recent hours it is reported that the IDF have killed 3 sons of Ismail Haniyeh, chairman of Hamas’s political bureau. To give some idea of the death cult that Israel is fighting, the Father, rather than express sorrow, expressed joy that his sons died as martyrs.

There is still no word on the whereabouts of the hostages, although the  body of Elad Katzir who was taken from Kibbutz Nir Oz (47) along with his 77 year old mother, was returned to Israel for burial this week..The mother was returned in the hostage release deal and his father was murdered on the kibbutz on October 7th.

133 remain unaccounted for and it is thought that perhaps up to half of them are no longer alive,  as talk of even the release of  40 hostages went nowhere.

The threats from Iran, who have been threatening to wipe Israel off the face of the earth for many years , now seems a real worry and it would be a lie to say people are not scared. Iran possesses long range missiles capable of carrying large war heads that can reach Israeli territory . Since the US have unofficially let it be known they have intelligence that an attack is imminent, it would be sensible to listen, especially  as we didn’t listen when Hamas said they would rip out our hearts.

As a precaution the Home Front has given instructions for everyone to prepare their safe rooms with food and water for at least 3 days and have a supply of medication and emergency lighting. Some schools have told children to prepare for home learning.

Iran have declared a no fly zone over missile launch sites and are cancelling all flights over their capital. The German airline Lufthansa have cancelled all flights to Tehran.

Israel has said they will strike Iran directly if they attack Israel directly.

The US are worried enough that they are sending their Commander of the Central Command of the US Army overnight for coordination. Senior German officials have also arrived in Israel.

It is unlikely that Iran will launch an attack during the holiday of Eid al Fitr but it is due to end before the weekend.  Areas of East Beirut have been advised to evacuate by Friday.

Biden has warned Iran that the US’s commitment to Israel is Ironclad, so while the window to destroy Hamas may be closing and the hope of releasing the hostages fades, we at least know that the USA has not abandoned us despite reports to the contrary.
