14 MAY - JAMES MILNER - (38) - Midfielder - signs 1-year extension to his existing contract with the club - effective until June 2025;
18 MAY - ROBERTO DE ZERBI - Announced by the club that Head Coach Roberto De Zerbi - (44) - & seven of his coaching staff - to leave the club after the match against Manchester United on the 19 May 2024, by mutual agreement. Coaches leaving with De Zerbi - Andrea Maldera, Richard Segarra, Marcattilio Marcattilii, Vincenzo Teresa, Agostino Tibaudi, Marcello Quinto & Enrico Venturelli.
Club Coaches - Andrew Crofts & Jack Stern to remain. A few weeks later De Zerbi was appointed Head Coach at Ligue 1 side Marseille;
14 JUNE - ADAM LALLANA - (36) - Midfielder - Free Agent - joins Southampton - on a 1-year contract;
15 JUNE - FABIAN HURZELER - (31) - Appointed Head Coach of the club - on a 3-year contract. Formerly Head Coach of St. Pauli, Hurzeler guided St. Pauli to the Bundesliga 2 title in Season 2023-2024 & promotion to the Bundesliga. Hurzeler came through the youth ranks at Bayern Munich but cut short his playing career at the age of 23 to go into coaching.
After spells in charge of the Germany Under-20s and Under-18s he joined St. Pauli in 2020 as Assistant Head Coach to Timo Schultz. Hurzeler is the youngest Head Coach in Premier

A Gambia international, Minteh joined Newcastle from Danish club Odense BK in the summer of 2023 and spent last season on loan at Feyenoord in Holland;

5 JULY - MATS WIEFFER - (24) - Midfielder - signed from Feyenoord - on a 5-year contract - effective until June 2029 - for a fee of £25 million. A Netherlands international, Wieffer used to play for FC Twente and Excelsior, before joining Feyenoord in 2022;

13 JULY - MALICK YALCOUYE - (18) - Midfielder - signed from IFK Gothenburg (Sweden) - on a 5-year contract - effective until June 2029 - for a fee of £6 million;
19 JULY - KACPER KOZLOWSKI - (20) - Midfielder - joins Gaziantep FK (Turkey) - on a permanent deal - on undisclosed terms. Kozlowski joined the Albion from Pogon Szczecin (Poland) in January 2022 and never kicked a ball for the club, having loan spells at Royale Union St-Gilloise (Belgium) and Vitesse Arnhem (Holland) (twice);
1 AUGUST - PASCAL GROSS - (33) - Midfielder - joins Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund - for an initial fee of £8 million, plus £2 million in potential add-ons on undisclosed terms.
Gross joined the Seagulls in the summer of 2017 from FC Ingolstadt O4 (Germany) for a fee of £3 million.
During his seven seasons with the club, all in the Premier, Gross was an important member of the team, making 261 appearances and scoring a record 30 Premier League goals;
ALBIION'S TOUR OF JAPAN - JULY 2024 -
The Seagulls first-ever tour of Japan saw them play two fixtures against J-League sides, Kashima Antlers and Tokyo Verdy. Both games were played at the National Stadium in Tokyo and the Albion took to the field of play to the sound of Sussex-by-the-Sea being played over the tannoy on both occasions.
