What's On at BNJCPottery & Glaze Workshop
Every Wednesday until 26 June, 6:30pm (£30 per session)Under the tutelage of ceramics artist and designer Helen Lucas, participants will learn about clay and glaze, their material properties, and most importantly, enjoy making pots, tiles, and other objects.Tickets

Brighton Jewish Book Club
Last Thursday of Every Month, 6:00pm. FreeJoin Nick and Sue in their monthly Jewish Book Club, and explore a range of fascinating reads. All the books you read will be written by Jewish authors or contain Jewish themes, and the monthly discussions will allow you to grab a drink and a snack and enjoy some literary discourse with other book lovers.RSVP

Creative Writing Taster Session

The Fiddle: Talk & Violin Recital
Wednesday 19 June, 6:30pm. £5Join us for an evening with Natalie Cummings, author of ‘The Fiddle’, to hear a remarkable true story, tracing the path of a precious violin across landscapes devastated by war and terror, to safety and restoration in 21st-century Britain. The violin was restored on the BBC show ‘The Repair Shop’, where its story inspired the nation.

The talk will be followed by a violin recital by Elaine Patience, accompanied by a pianist in a stunning rendition of a selection of Jewish music - played on the original 1800s violin.

sOur One Year Anniversary: Meet Pauly the Painter
Sunday 23 June, 11am. FreeJoin us in celebrating BNJC's one-year anniversary since its opening by Chief Rabbi Mirvis with a series of special activities. Local artist Pauly The Painter, AKA Paul Cary, will create a special painting of BNJC with contributions from the local community. Plus, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at our Crafternoon drop-in, where you can sketch parts of BNJC, sip coffee, and connect with fellow community members. Celebrate, create, and immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of our community.
