It has been another week of full on war both in Gaza and the north. The IDF have continued to discover tunnels and are currently destroying them with bunker busting bombs causing strong explosions in Gaza City. The vibrations can be heard as far away as Tel Aviv and Beit Shemesh, demonstrating just how small Israel is and the proximity of the threat from Gaza.
Weapons and communication systems are being discovered in the tunnels telling just how prepared and sophisticated the Hamas killing machine was. They have been preparing for many years , stealing the many millions of dollars in aid money and building a whole society whose only focus was the invasion and destruction of Israel.
The battle in Shejaia continued this week: 8 tunnels were destroyed along with weapons and dozens of terrorists eliminated . A hero soldier was lost on Wednesday .
Tragically, in the north a couple were killed in their car when a Hezbollah attack was not intercepted . The IDF had the road they were travelling on marked as an open area and the Iron Dome was not activated. They left behind 3 children. The rocket attacks are causing wild fires in the Golan.
The UK news reported a hit on a school in Khan Younis, but the IDF have reported Hamas leaders who were hiding in the humanitarian area targeted together with weapon launchers. This is being investigated .
UK legal experts are also continuing in their ill thought through bid to have Netanyahu and Gallant branded war criminals and tried at The Hague. There is no mention of Hamas or Hezbollah leaders or fighters being brought to justice , just those who defend their people against an unprovoked attack on civilians on sovereign territory!
It has been reported that Iran has moved 15,000 fighters into Syria in preparation for a larger conflict breaking out. Hezbollah leader, Nasrallah is claiming on Arab media that Israel is about to fall. His personal body guard was eliminated this week and if anything is about to fall, it is his terror infrastructure that has ruined the beautiful country of Lebanon .
The United Nations have failed to correct their lies sufficiently and report that Gaza is now better fed than before the war. T he numbers killed and injured as reported by the Hamas Health Authority have been quietly slashed in half. Foreign reporters were allowed into Gaza for the first time this week, but with the anti Israel fever being in high fashion disguised as humanitarian concern we cannot expect a balanced report.
The United States have decided to resume the shipment of large 500 lb bombs, as they feel reassured that the Gaza operation is winding down and they don’t mind as much if they are used against Hezbollah as the area is less built up without the huge concentration of civilians.
The US do not object to civilians being killed, they killed enough themselves in Vietnam, but they have a preference, depending on who is being killed and by who and how it effects their voters. That’s it ! They support Israel only because Israel stands as a barrier between an Islamic invasion of the West, but when it suits them they withdraw that support. There are no friends in politics , only interests, and the US will only ever act in their own interest .
Israel is clearly starting to achieve her goals of destroying Hamas as they are starting to change their demands : defeat must give birth to change. A framework to agree the first stage of the Biden proposed and Saudi-backed cease fire and the release of 33 hostages is taking shape and there is more hope than last week that an agreement can be reached and implemented.
There seems to be noises, that neither Israel or Hamas would govern Gaza in a post war scenario.
A PA Police force with hand picked and US trained staff is being suggested . The co-operation of Egypt and other Arab states will be central to any pull-out of the IDF. We do not want to revert to October 6th. Various ideas for security are being examined.
In true Israeli style there is much in fighting in the government , the people are out on the streets demonstrating in their tens of thousands and the Haredim ( Ultra Orthodox ) continue to refuse the draft claiming only prayer can save the Jewish State. (Didn’t work in the Holocaust and not working now!) It is said G-d can only help those who help themselves, so its time they got up and started defending their country and people.
