They didn’t expect that ! The world and especially the Israel haters are left virtually speechless with the precision attack that has taken out the head of the snake of the Hezbollah terrorist group in Lebanon .
The assassination of Hassan Nasrallah on Friday night squared the circle eliminating all except one of the Hezbollah hierarchy.
Nasrallah has been responsible for for the deaths of countless Israelis and other nationals dating back to 1982. In additions to many terror attacks (some listed below), there was the 1st and 2nd Lebanese wars causing death and destruction on both sides.
1983: 63 people killed including 17 Americans at the US Embassy
240 American Marines and 58 French Soldiers at the French Marine Barracks Beirut.
1984: 18 US servicemen, 83 injured at a restaurant in Spain
11 killed, 58 injured US Embassy Beirut
4 killed hijacking of Kuwait Airlines
1985 Hijacked TWA 847 demanding release of prisoners in Israel. 1 US marine killed
1988 : 3 Saudi Diplomats killed
1986: Kidnapped and killed Lebanese Jews
1989: Third Secretary of Saudi Arabia killed in Bangkok
1992: Suicide bomb at Israeli Embassy, Buenos Aires. 29 Killed, 240 injured
1994: Suicide Bombing of Argentine Jewish Mutual Association, 85 killed, 300 injured
19995-96: Fired rockets in Israel , 36 injured . Truck bomb in Saudi Arabia 19 killed ,372 injured
2000: Kidnapped 3 Israeli soldiers and a business man from Israel. Remains returned 2004
2002: Shooting attack over the border . 6 killed, 7 injured
2006: 8 Israeli soldiers killed, 2 kidnapped. Remains returned 2008
2011: Assassinated Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Al-Hariri
2012: Foiled attempt to blow up Israelis in Bangkok. Foiled attempt to blow up 2 Chabad Houses, suicide bombs on holiday-makers in Bulgaria.
And as they say etc etc. You get the picture. Hezbollah are a huge international hardened terrorist group who have no limits on where they attack.
In support of the October 7th massacre, Hezbollah have been firing rockets on the north of Israel daily since October 8th, including a ballistic missile on Tel Aviv in the last few days.
The north of Israel has been mostly evacuated and a new war aim of the Israeli war cabinet is to return the refugees safely to their homes in the north.
The Arab world had been convinced by the passionate speech from Nasrallah that after nearly a year of a seven fronted attack that Israel “is as weak as spider’s web” . He forgot to mention that the weak spider’s web had spawned spiders deadlier than Phoneutria. In the words of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , “ the steel arm of Israel, can reach everywhere”.
While Solomon directed Jews not to celebrate the fall of their enemy, we also will not be shedding a tear as the world is rid of a monstrous tyrant. Iranians were celebrating outside the Israeli Embassy in London . There are reports of celebrations in Syria.
The US are really worried as they preferred to allow Nasrallah to kill their servicemen than to confront him and his followers and do not want to be drawn into a war. It is acceptable for Israel to be bombed daily as long as the war doesn’t spill over. Their staff are now forbidden to leave the Embassy in Israel except to go to the airport. Biden says he supports Israel’s right to defend herself, but is really saying, please do it by yourself and don’t involve us !! Even though their embassy in Iraq is under attack by Hezbollah supporters.
Iran is furious and wants to send ground troops into Lebanon, but the IDF are now in control of Lebanese air traffic control and planes with weapons and perhaps soldiers from Iran are turning back.
The Iranian supreme leader Khameini, has been smuggled out to a secure location and urges Muslims everywhere, to take up the fight whilst he hides underground . He must realise now that no location is secure. Israeli news outlet Yedioth Aharonoth has reported that Israel has more targets to assassinate in Tehran .
Iran is trying to rally support by saying that Israel is going to attack Damascus and Baghdad in addition to Tehran. No one yet knows what Israel plans to do next, accept that they will not longer tolerate indiscriminate daily fire on the country.
The skies above Beirut are empty. In contrast, Ben Gurion is mostly open, although foreign airlines are cancelling their flights and a number of Wizz Air flights have turned back .
The IDF are currently attacking ammunition depots and rocket launchers throughout Southern Lebanon . With guided missiles the IDF have targeted Hezbollah’s underground anti ship missile storage facility.
The IDF are advising everyone to evacuate Lebanon’s Beka’a and the Dahiya region in Beirut.
A ballistic missile was intercepted by the Arrow fired from Eilat, and debris fell in Jordan causing wild fires but some debris fell not far from route 6. Two days ago two ballistic missiles were aimed at Eilat, one hit the port area injuring two people and the other one was intercepted . These missiles are likely to have been launched from Iraq.
Hezbollah may have no leaders and no communications at the moment, but they do still have a massive supply of weapons. They have launched a ballistic missile towards Jerusalem tonight which was intercepted near Jericho.
For nearly one year, our hostages have languished in the terror tunnels of Gaza and the only rhetoric we have heard is that Israel must cease fire. Even tonight, the news ignores the plight of the hostages as though they do not exist.
In any one day until last night, this war could have ended with the release of the hostages and the surrender of Hamas, but we only hear that Bibi doesn’t want a deal, Bibi doesn’t want a ceasefire. It is a sickening inversion of good and evil and it is clear that Israel will no longer tolerate the daily attacks and will now insist that Hezbollah pulls back behind the Litani river so the residents of the north can return home and live in safety and security.
The applause at the UN for the speech of the PA leader Abbas, felt like something out of a crazed horror movie. After two decades of denying all Jewish rights, supporting the `’pay to slay ` policy, and claiming imaginary genocides and Holocaust, he, the unelected , self proclaimed leader of the Palestinians is still welcomed at the corrupt UN !
The lies, the blood libels, the intifadas, the wars, the rockets , the rapes , the beheading , the burning of babies totally disqualifies current Palestinian leadership from joining the civilised world, until they change their charter and accept to live in peace side by side with the Jewish State.
The mainstream media support and regurgitate the crazy lies and are giving oxygen to a war that they say must cease. They fail to mention the hostages, the nearly 80,000 people displaced in Israel and the constant daily rocket fire on civilians. They place no responsibility on Hamas, the PA or Hezbollah, only focusing on Israel who they portray as the bully boy of the region despite overwhelming evidence to contrary.
May the hand of G-d protect the brave soldiers and the people of Israel because it is clear the outside world is not going to .
