How did things ever get so bad?
How did we ever reach such a place ,where the Jewish state is infiltrated and innocent civilians attacked and taken kidnapped and the world doesn’t know which side to take ?
Since WW11 and the rebirth of Israel as a much needed home for the displaced Jews of the world attitudes have changed beyond recognition.
When Britain was defending herself and liberating Europe from the tyranny of the Nazis everyone was clear about where they stood and the fight was united. Even then it was tough and took many years, but the unity kept people strong and they knew in the end good would triumph over evil.
Now sadly since the emergence of a soft liberal youth, that cannot bear any discomfort, wants to right every wrong and sees injustice everywhere they look, the world can no longer tell right from wrong. Winning is a dirty word and the belief that love will cure all has led us blindly to grant a huge advantage to the wicked and those who crave tyrannical power. The supporters of Hamas have never faced a war or an enemy , in fact they cry if they can’t get the latest iPhone !
The chants from the River to the Sea take no account of which River or which Sea! It just they have been fed a narrative of a mis-justice that they feel must be corrected. No account of culture or intent however clear, is taken into consideration. Anti Semitism is acceptable in the right context.
So today instead of recognising that Israel, a small fledging state that vowed to live side by side in peace with its Arab neighbours was brutally attacked in 1948, with the intention of whole area being turned over to Arab rule, a story has been fabricated that the Jews just walked in and stole Arab land.
The historical rule of the Ottomans and then the British was washed away and when the Arab failed again to obliterate the Jewish presence in ‘67 and ‘73 they adopted a new strategy and metamorphosed into an oppressed people adopting the name Palestinians.
The surrounding Arab countries who believe that any country, including Spain, that was ever ruled by Moslems must be returned to Muslim rule supported Yasser Arafat, the leader of this new found movement . Knowing the world would probably not accept the wholesale slaughter of the Jews of Israel ,( many themselves former Palestinians , that they were born and raised in British Mandate Palestine), they claimed they wanted independence and would accept a Palestinian State back to the pre 67 borders.
The holy city of Jerusalem became a sticking point. The Jews had no intention of returning that area to Arab rule where they themselves were banned and the holy basin was kept as a rubbish tip under the Jordanians and under the Ottomans . Read Mark Twain.
On numerous occasions the Arabs identifying as Palestinians, were offered a state of their own for self determination . On one occasion they were offered 97% of their demands.

We have to understand that these offers backed them into an uncomfortable corner as their cause was not about land , but about the total annihilation of Israel and nothing less would satisfy them or their sponsors. Hence, each offer brought about intifada and violent uprising .
The world felt sorry for these downtrodden people, especially when the Jewish state gained strength and started to prosper . It offended their sense of justice , fairness and equality. It didn’t matter that the Jewish state spent decades building and working, inventing and innovating . NO the Arabs must be part of that newly found success, Despite the millions and trillions of dollars sent to the Arabs in aid, they made no effort to raise the people up and started to build a guerilla army.
In an initial step to force the Arabs to accept the self determination they so loudly screamed they wanted, Israel bravely or stupidly evacuated Gaza together with all Jewish presence and military personal. Here was a wonderful opportunity to build a beautiful area administered by Arabs for Arabs. It was an apartheid state , as no Jews were allowed to enter Gaza and leave alive. It was the beginning of fighting the wrong that saw the Arabs left behind and ruled over by Israel.
The aid poured in, but no progress was made. Instead a brutal political entity took charge, oppressed the people, stole the aid and surreptitiously built one of the biggest under ground war machines in living history. Their sole objective was the destruction of the Jewish State and the west supported them in the full knowledge of of their charter.
Their brethren in the area known as the West Bank perpetrated intifadas, stabbing, shootings and rammings, prompting Israel to erect check points to protect their citizens. Children were slaughtered in their beds, men at prayer, civilians at bus stops, children in Pizza Palours, families in hotels: standing in line anywhere become dangerous in Israel. The West increased the aid claiming only “a two state solution “ could calm the waters.
The Hamas somehow misjudged their invasion on October 7th, thinking that the West Bank Arabs were ready to over run the country and after 76 years they would together massacre the Jews and take the whole area.
Tragically, the Nova festival appeared in front of their murderous eyes, and thousands of young people overwhelmed their blood lust . They lost time and momentum being high on drugs, even though they had the element of surprise, raping, beheading and burning the teenagers which stood in their way before they could continue through the Kibbutzim to Beer Sheva .
Iran who sponsor Hezbollah in the north and have taken control of Lebanon in their plight to expand their Islamic influence care nothing for the Palestinians who would fall under their command, but have come out in support attacking Israel who they call the Little Satan, (the US being the Big Satan ). Iranian Shia and Sunni Hamas are no friends.
One of the main problems that has led to today’s situation is that the West allowed their sensibilities to be projected onto a conflict that is dictated by entirely different sensibilities . Pride and adherence to a strict religious dictum takes all precedence over sense. Life is just a pathway to paradise, hence families are proud when their children die as martyrs. So much pride is given to martyrdom (dying in the name of the cause ), that it is the best paid salary in the West Bank and Gaza, Incidentally, paid by the European Union, the UK and the UN !
Power dictates and compassion is seen as weakness. The useful idiots that are marching around the western wold supporting Hamas would be quickly slaughtered after the Jews. Gays for Palestine would be thrown alive from buildings.
So now we are promised in the next 48 hours or so a comprehensive attack that will see nearly 10 million people running for their lives, crouching with babies and the elderly in shelters while Iran takes revenge , saving face.
Israel eliminated leaders that have been planning and executing atrocities but that has offended so many. Russia is actively supporting Iran. Turkey is threatening to invade Israel. The fever in the Arab and Persian world is running high hoping that this time they will delivery a deadly blow to the Jewish state .
But we know from bitter past experience and what we are now experiencing on the streets of London and the Universities of the US that there is no place for weak Jews in this world . Israel will stand strong and the US has at last come to our aid recognising a totally Islamic Middle East puts them on the front line.
