The world stood witness on Wednesday as Israel buried the mutilated bodies of the kidnapped Bibas babies with their mother, Siri. Laid to rest in one casket, together for eternity .
Their heartbroken father and Siris sister, who had also lost her parents on that black October day bravely spoke in the knowledge that the whole country was holding them close, crying with them and praying for them to overcome the darkness in which they are trapped.
It was a particularly wretched day for Israel and in each town and along the funeral procession route people turned out holding Israeli flags and orange balloons ; just being together supporting each other. One nation with one heart bleeding and grieving together.
The world may be surprised by the brutal murder of such young children, but to Israel this is not the first time babies have been slaughtered by the blood thirsty Palestinians.
In 2004, terrorists opened fire on a family killing a pregnant mother and her four daughters near their home in Gaza, before Israel vacated the area. Who can forget the Fogel family slaughtered in their beds, a 4 year old , a 3 month old baby and an 1 year old boy killed along side their parents ? In a similar act of depravity killing alone was not sufficient to satisfy their blood lust, and they mutilated that young baby !
The massacre of October 7th saw the slaughter of 38 children, and many others violently kidnapped and snatched from their parents. Parents were rendered helpless as babies as young as nine month old Mila Cohen were killed and Kfir Bibas at 10 months and Ariel at age 4 were kidnapped in their mother’s arms, and as we now know brutally murdered by the bare hands of Hamas.
The elderly victims stood little chance against such a frenzied crowd of blood thirsty killers. The eldest victims, Shlomo Mantzur at 85 and Ohed Lifshitz, an 84 year old peace worker who ferried Gazans to hospitals in Israel were ripped from their homes and taken to the hell hole of Gaza.
In total 251 hostages were taken and today, Thursday, which marks the last day of stage one of the cease fire and day 511, four bodies were returned without the Hamas ceremonial circus. Tashi Idan whose body was released among the four today lost his eldest daughter 18 year old Mayanne as they struggled to keep their safe room door closed.
59 hostages remain, but it is thought perhaps only twenty plus are living. It is difficult to understand why we are receiving bodies and not the living as a priority .
We have witnessed that there is no limit to the crazed depravity that has taken over Gaza in their bid to destroy Israel. The terrible displays and cheering crowds around the release of the hostages clearly paints a picture of complicity and support by the so called “innocent civilians”. Little is made of the fact that behind the Hamas thugs who entered Israel on October 7th , streamed plenty of civilians who joined and abetted the attack.
The six hostage released last week were in a terrible physical shape and looked like limping skeletons. We can only wander at their psychological state after being held mostly chained and alone in the darkness of tunnels.
Even Saudi Arabia and UAE are saying that Hamas has brought shame to their religion and are refusing to contribute to the rebuilding of Gaza until Hamas are destroyed.
Hamas may not be launching rockets at Israel since the ceasefire, but they are still operating and planing and trying to perpetrate acts of terror. Only last week, after a vigilant passenger spotted a suspicious item on a bus, was another national tragedy slimly adverted. To our knowledge five buses scheduled for rush hour had explosive devices ready to be detonated .
Hamas have embedded themselves deeply into the West Bank and IDF tanks have been seen in the city of Jenin, a well known hotbed for terror activities. 40,000 Palestinians have been evacuated from Jenin, Tulkarem and Nur Shams, while the IDF are dismantling terrorist infrastructure .
Terror attacks continue all over Israel and just now a car ramming in Pardes Hanna has injured eight , one critically. As Israel is releasing hardened murderous criminals and professional bomb makers in their thousands in exchange for the hostages, we can only expect more of these deadly attacks. We must hope that the government has a plan B for after all the hostages are released, as we cannot continue in these dangerous and bitter days for long .
We do not know exactly how many children have died in Gaza, but each death has been caused by Hamas, as no sovereign nation could sit back and allow their citizens to be attacked in this way. Hamas chose war by invading Israel and massacring civilians and taking hostages. They then used hospitals , schools and mosques as military bases and hid behind civilians in order to garner world sympathy. There is no comparison between the attack on October 7th and Israel’s subsequent attack in Gaza in a bid to dismantle what has become a terrorist nation.
At this time President Trump stands firmly behind Israel and we can only hope that with the support of the USA , Israel can disarm and defeat Hamas once and for all. The whole strip lies in ruins and the war is not yet over. Gaza has been rebuilt several times and the result is always the same. A terror state, deprived people , children being brain washed into glorifying and loving death! A new political entity that wants peace with Israel is the only viable future.
With Hamas in power there is no future in Gaza and Israel will have no peace.
