We are just leaving Canada and I must say in our few weeks here, the only time we heard about Israel or Gaza was about a planned march in Ottawa.
While Canada may be speaking out against Israel, the country has such huge social problems with housing, zombified druggies and wild fires, I am not convinced that the Middle East is paramount in the minds of the regular people, but they are fed the lies through social media and the news.
The Arab propaganda is so well constructed that they have managed against all evidence to convince people that there is famine and genocide in Gaza. The recent photos of people collecting aid from the IDF do not support these theories, but nevertheless the young have found the perfect peg to hang their misplaced sense of justice, that they are now incapable of examining another view that would leave them looking stupid and worse still throwing their world viewpoint on the rubbish heap along with Nazism and Communism.
The embers of Nazism is being re-kindled in front of our eyes.
Even the slaughtering of two young Israelis in Washington is not enough to dent their self belief that Israel and Zionists are the root of all evil. Just as the raped girls on October 7th were airbrushed out of the MeToo movement, the death of a baby virtually murdered in his mother’s womb does not move them, as it does not fit their narrative.
The murder of a woman in her most vulnerable condition (in labour) hardly flashed across X, but the regurgitated photos of ten children from one family that had died for at least the third time was everywhere ! Sirens blare daily in Israel, but no news channel pays it any attention.
Just like the Zombies on the streets of Vancouver these leading the River to the Sea chants are now rendered incapable of independent thought. No evidence or facts are going to easily change their minds.
The leaders of the Jewish world have been so stunned and their voices drowned out by the liberal minority within their midst, that they have failed miserably to counter act the lies and consequently the war in Israel has brought the Diaspora Jews onto the front line, but without any protection.
In Israel we have the IDF, The Iron Dome, The David Sling, The Arrow, safe rooms and shelters in every school and home or on every corner. What do the Jews in Diaspora have ? The brave willingness of the CST to stand unarmed on corners with radios and a Police Force that looks the other way !
Jews haven’t stepped into some fairy tale looking glass or wardrobe, but have been pushed back through some Time Machine into a nightmare. And no one knows the way back. There is no Yellow Brick Road, but at the core of this is a rabid octopus feeding off the western government’s need for oil and the youth’s search for righteousness, with the evil spreading from Iran and Qatar right through the western world.
We read about the boys attacked at Belsize Park tube station, but only through Jewish media. We know they are at risk in their blazers and kippot, but is there a police presence ? No, not a policeman in sight, let alone armed police that ensure these children travel to and from school safely. Conversely, when there is a Palestinian march, supporting terrorism taking over the streets of London, the police are everywhere, as G-d forbid there should be a disturbance caused by the Jews, stopping the free speech of those who support massacres !
The holiday of Shavuot celebrates the giving of The Torah to Moses on Mount Sinai. We are lucky that we have something that those who are morally lost, lack and we must hold tightly to our beliefs and foundations to see us through these awful times and pray that the truth will be strong enough to overcome the hatred. Meanwhile, we must take precautions that we never thought would be necessary again, while Israel continues in her attempt to free the hostages and end the war.
