Good Shabbos to all,

So the Olympics have been and went, and in the media things are getting back to normal.
Unfortunately that means more concentration on the Middle East and the horrible situation which everyone finds themselves.
Hamas have not bothered to turn up at the talks in Doha where Israel, USA Egypt and Qatar are trying to find a solution. Perhaps as Qatar seems to finance and help Hamas, they can be persuaded to accept a deal and put pressure on the Gazan regime to accept it. But that is purely my hope. There are others more expert. What seems to be important though is the looming threat from Iran.

So, to what is really important in life. Jack Kayes has sent in an article which prepares us for the beginning of the football season. It is in the sport section of the website.

Corinne Rachelle has proposed a recipe for Chicken Chasseur. As usual it looks delicious and as this warm weather cannot last a long time, will be a lovely meal when the weather cools down.

For those who are not going to Shul tomorrow or who missed it, the Parsha this week is Va-Etchanan in which Moses reminds us of G-d's commandments. The 10 commandments are repeated as is the Shema. This can be found in the Religious Community section.

Not much more to say this week, enjoy the good weather

Shabbat Shalom

Nick
