However in the Middle East things look very precarious, with the Gazans refusing as I write to release the hostages for this week, and Israel and Donald Trump threatening to re-instate the war.

I must admit that many commentators are now saying that the Trump speech was typical, where he says something outrageous but uses it to spur others into thinking constructively.
In our Community section, under "Communiity" I have highlighted a meeting of the Jewish Historical Society on the evening of February 25th. It is to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Masada Dig and reminiscences of Yigael Yadin. It is sure to be a very interesting evening.
Later in the week, I will be posting Jack Kaye's Arbion Chronicle 27 celebrating how Albion beat Chelsea in the Cup.
