So we seem to have reached the end of Summer. As a former rugby player, I always enjoyed the arrival of September and the cooler weather and softer pitches. However I realise that for most they would like dry warm weather as long as possible.
I have attached an article this week from Friday's Jewish Chronicle. This is in the section called "News from other sources". It relates to a short press conference by Bibi Netenyahu for the foreign media. The whole article is very revealing, but in the conference it was stated "If we leave the Philadelphi corridor, it will be impossible to prevent Hamas not only from smuggling weapons, but also from smuggling hostages,”
This sounds totally reasonable, and is probably what we had all surmised. What is terrible to me, is that this was not reported on BBC, Sky, or any other news channel. This is not fair reporting and I believe, should be highlighted some way.
On a lighter vein, I am delighted that we have Jack Kaye's 3rd chapter of his Albion Chronicle.
Corinne Rachelle is away on a very well earned holiday in Portugal. Before she went, she gave me the recipe for her Overnight Oats. In addition I have re-published her recipe for a Perfect hot salt-beef sandwich. Bon Appetit!
